Japanese Blue Island Woodcut Print Muslin Baby Blanket

35.00

Japanese artist Furuya Korin (1875–1910) excelled at traditional woodcut prints. Our muslin blanket bridges the gap between ancient and abstract - making it almost feel like contemporary art. The marine blue feels reminiscent of the ocean and the clean lines in light green make for a bright look.

My middle daughter Lola is 4 years old and still carries around some of her old swaddling blankets! Unfortunately, most of them have very babyish and cartoonish patterns--I wished she had something more inspiring that could grow with her. I decided to design baby blankets that were both beautiful and inspiring.

It's never too early to introduce an affection of art and history in our children.
