The spring brings with it a sense of possibility, of newness, of potential, which is why we're proud that our Spring/Summer 2014 collection finds its inspiration from one of America's greatest experiences of possibility and adventure: the Oregon Trail.
Although many Americans had been quietly traversing and settling across the wild west, it wasn't until 1841 that a small group of pioneers set out from Independence, MO to follow in the footsteps of fur traders and backwoodsmen. The long "road "they followed came to be known as the Oregon Trail.
Nowadays, the Oregon Trail conjures up the kind of quintessentially American pioneering spirit; a spirit of exploration, adventure and enterprise. Although the pioneering spirit may take different forms, we believe that spirit is still alive in America today and hope our collection pays a respective nod to our American resolve to always pursue something beyond.
