If you have a keyboard at home and want to have the kids mess around with learning a little bit right now, I can highly recommend the Alfred Book series. I learned with them when I was a little girl (and Im sure if I tried the knowledge has to be there still…right?) and I started using them with my daughters this year—and I KNOW that if we can become consistent, that will make all the difference.

Also- my kids are using the SAME books I had when I was a kid. They have held up really well and are definitely worth the price.
